VIPR Outreach Community Mini-Grants *
The Texas Violence and Injury Prevention Research Center (VIPR) is now accepting applications for the Outreach Community Mini-Grants which will be awarded up to four non-profit organizations. The VIPR Mini-Grants support community-based organization for programming that will address a community-identified need or for organizational capacity building.
Proposals should focus on health-promotion or violence and injury prevention strategies but must be driven by community need.

The purpose of this program is to engage community-based organizations to extend the reach of VIPR through funding of locally relevant programs and organizational capacity building.

Encourage community-based violence and injury prevention programming.
Support capacity building efforts for community-based violence and injury prevention organizations.

We are accepting applications for the VIPR Community Outreach Mini-Grants Overview through May 29th at 5 p.m. CST.

Non-profit organizations providing services in Texas are eligible to apply for funding. This may include, but are not limited to: public schools, community-based organizations, faith-based organizations, community-based health provider organizations and/or support groups.

This initiative will fund a total of $20,000 in community grants. Organizations will be awarded from $2,500-$10,000 to implement the proposed project.
All projects must be completed by December 30, 2026, with a final report due on February 15, 2027.
