Outreach

With a focus on historically marginalized populations and health disparities and inequities, our outreach team uses a community-based participatory research approach to develop & disseminate print, broadcast, and digital media materials that are tailored to our communities.

The Texas Violence and Injury Prevention Research Center (VIPR) is now accepting applications for the Outreach Community Mini-Grants which will be awarded up to four non-profit organizations. The VIPR Mini-Grants support community-based organization for programming that will address a community-identified need or for organizational capacity building.

Proposals should focus on health-promotion or violence and injury prevention strategies but must be driven by community need.

If you are uncertain whether your project will qualify, please email us at info@TEXASVIPR.com
